Discover easy to learn medical concepts at you own pace

Author's note to readers,
Learning how to learn has always been a challenge in a medical career because of the vast body of knowledge that is ever-growing. Constructivism is one of the popular theories that addresses the fundamental psychology of learning. Constructivism is learning a new concept based on prior knowledge. Learners construct their own understanding and knowledge of the world by experiencing things and reflecting on those experiences, rather than passively absorbing and filling in information. Whenever we encounter something new, we have to reconcile it with our previous ideas and experiences, resulting in constructed knowledge. Information is understood by making meaningful connections between prior knowledge, new knowledge, and the processes involved in learning. In short, we are active creators of our own knowledge. Awareness of this learning style builds a strong foundation. Every post is written with the learner's perspective in mind. I hope the content on this site is able to play a small role in constructing your valuable knowledge that translates into better patient care.
